I'm a production scheduler for a factory (Pretty Boring).  I just wondered what everybody else does.

My name is plottdog and I am a poodle groomer. Wait a minute, that's plott, not  me. I drive around an Army installation with all kinds of cool firepower, looking at the deer and critters. They say I am supposed to be looking for bad guys, running radar and writing speeding tickets, working traffic, chasing poachers and checking hunters and fishermen in the field, maybe writing some more tickets there, and drinking coffee and eating doughnuts. Sometimes we investigate incidents, thefts, and really strange crazy people. We always have to go to fires and explosions, the bad part of the job.
I am a licensed investigator and a custom knife maker, too. If I had my 'druthers, I'd 'druther just stay home and make knives full time and get caught up.

Thats pretty indiscript, Pike. What's the factory make??
I work several jobs. #1 machinist for a company that builds chemical analyzer/controllers for the electroplating/ circuit board industry.
#2 Meat Clerk at the local grocery. #3 Electronic Tech/assembler for a small company that builds tape erasing equipment and electronic test boxes.
#3 is sometimes, as needed. Haven't done that in 6 mos. Still the other 2 jobs keep me busy for 60-70 hours a week (sometimes more).

To you gutless cowards and scumbags, who are trying to lie and rewrite history. To those out to commit genocide on the Southern people with your destruction of Confederate monuments and your attacks on Southern heritage and pride. Be happy for now. Because someday when that civil war you wanted starts. I will find you. And I will kill you.

I am an AGR (Active Guard Reservist) working full time for the 185th Air Refueling Wing, Iowa Air National Guard.  In my spare time, I indulge in my other career/hobby of Law Enforcement working part time for the Kingsley Police Department.
I refuse to get into a battle of wits with an unarmed person.

I work for Ames True Temper.  The division of the company I'm in makes striking tool handles from hickory and fiberglass.

I've been a knife collector since I was a kid and have always wanted to make knives.  Where/how did you learn to do this?

Woodland firefighter for the State, operate a John Deere dozier most of the time putting out fires and assisting people wanting to prescribe burn their property. Also operate a one ton pick up outfitted with a 300gal tank and pump for field fires and control burns. Really cool truck, military surplus, outfitted with 36" Super Swamper tires under a 3" lift and a 12K lb. winch. Love the work, hate the job of working with the gov't. Some of the idiots above me in rank I think are trying to invent a football bat.
