Shouldn't shotgun get less points than rifle? Anyone can hit them with 400 peices of lead flying at once.

 ;D

Nick T
but they should be the same points cause us shotgunners dont use scopes anybody can put crosshairs on somethin and pull the trigger  ;D
It takes patience to break a good hound. Ya gotta be persistent and it helps to be a lil smarter then the dog.

Sounds too complicated to me.  Half a point for this, 2 points for that.....  I think I'll just kill some squirrels. O0

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

O0 Me, too. In fact, I got a smoke signal from my son in Arizona. It said, PUFF PUFF puff PUFF PUFF PUFF puff puff puff PUFF PUFF puff puff puff. Oh, that's right, you folks can't read Indian smoke signals. The smoke said, "Dad, there are lots of squirrels here, big ones that live in the mountains about an hour and a half from home here in Phoenix. I will expect you here in November and we will kill many squirrels. PS, bring Mom".  :)

Pennsylvania does not permit the use of airguns either.  Realistically, with some of the new airguns being almost as effective as a 22, I don't agree with giving extra points for their use.  Just my thoughts.

If you see fit to add extra points for airgun use, that's okay with me.

dude have you not seen the big bore air rifles? they will take down anything short of elepants.... yeah i spelled it that way
when in doubt shoot twice
