They have been doing great here with the cats, yellow bass, largemouth, and bluegills. The fishing in a local lake, Lake Geode, had been fantastic. Minnows and worms have been working great for cats. A couple of guys yesterday were bassing at one of the lakes at work and nailed several in the 5 pound class.

MN report - The big walleyes have been running pretty thick right now, most the lakes have ice on them still but the rivers are really flowing.  I wish I was down in the warmer climates out in the boat, but you can't beat ice fishing either.  Jealous you guys are getting into the cats.  My buddy caught a nice 10lb flathead the other night but that is it so far for cats.  Panfish will be another good week or 2 for the ice to get off, then it will be hot.
