Well, I said the picture was lousy. It was taken with my camera phone and it was overcast. Anyways, here it are...

When I was a child, I lived as a child. When I became a man, I put away my childish things and became a Gutpiler!

Nice little brown!  O0 All we ever caught in the Provo were rainbow, if I remember correctly. Nice thing about the Provo is that the rainbows are native fish in that river. Most of that river is pretty swift, but good fishing. You DO have to work for every fish you catch in the Provo. Also, my brother and I saw only one other person fishing one day while fishing the Provo all the times we fished it.

;D  ;D  ;D We ran across a young family that was camping next to the Provo River. The father looked like he just stepped out of a catalog wearing all the newest gear and the best. He had fancy waders, a creel, expensive vest and clothes, and a fly rod and reel to kill for. The only thing he didn't have were any fish, he couldn't catch a one.
Brother Don and I gave them enough fish for their supper and continued fishing. They were wonderful folks, the real American dream. I don't know if that nice fella ever did catch a fish, but at least those fine folks had one fish supper.  :)
