Actually I found a picture of JA's catch dog he was goin to use Notice he actually has a cut vest on it O0 ;D
;D  Ya got me fair and square, plott! I knew that was coming, was waiting for it.  ;D For the uniformed, it's my wife's dog. Really. Not that my dog isn't just about as worthless for hunting. Plott would tell you it's the beginning of a real trash pack.  ;D Plott's picture isn't of my wife's dog, but it's about the same size.

  John spoke(typed) with a forked tongue, he said to me he calls his wife "squaw" to her face.

Re cooling off, send some of this heat up my way. We were hovering just above freezing here last night because it cleared out.
Daytime is still below  70 deg F >:(   I might get to harvest the tomatoes three days before the first fost this Fall.

Oh, yeah?  ;D Hey, we could send ya some of this heat, but it would melt all your snow and ice. Then, you would have to huddle in the AC like we have to right now.  ;D

Dang BBF!  It's supposed to be 94 here today, with high humidity.

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

Heat vs Cold

Heat, once you are naked in front of an A/C you are done

Cold, you can always put on more textiles and have a bigger fire

Today it was 70+
Tomorrow it will be 50 tops

Looks like my igloo will be ok for the rest of this year
