My squirrel arrows are mostly wood shaft. I make quite a few of my own blunts with a bleeder dlade. I also like a ACE Hex Blunt and any old used realy cheap 2 blade broadheads. I cut the tip off of the broadheads.
Most of my arrows are just a 3 fletch 5 inch cheapest feathers I can find. I do fletch up some Flu Flu arrows with judo points.
For me bowhunting squirrels with traditional equipment and a dog are great.

Squirrel arrows are generally flu flu arrows.  There's 2 ways of making a flu flu.  The first is to take a full length feather, split in half, and start wrapping it around the shaft where the fletching goes, leaving a little space between the wraps.  The second, and most popular way, is to fletch 5-6 uncut feathers on the end of the shaft.  Squirrels are generally hunted with blunts or judo points to keep the arrow from sticking in the tree after the shot.

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

Actually, the blunt (or flu flu) is the only arrow that kills by shock.  All other arrow types kill by hemmorage. O0

I use regular 3 fletch more than Flu Flu. It depends on the shot that is required.
I also like a Blunt with a bleeder blade. That gives me the hemmorage and shock.

That's what I tried to tell them! O0  1 squirrel = 1 squirrel.  Pretty simple to me.................But you know, I am from KY and don't have a lot of big city book learnin' and stuff like that. O0

Actually I'm on strike now, I wont play unless a squirrel equals a point divided by nothing.

Find a common month we all share during the season and make it then, all this dividing by how many months the season is would kill my score.

Aug 15th to Feb 28th thats 6 months!!!! I cant keep up my killing spree that long!!!  I'd have more squirrel meat than deer meat for crying out loud

STRIKE!!!!
STRIKE!!!!

Scotty for El Presidente!!!!!!!

Your not the only ones.I wanted the same, An average season for EVERYONE to go by and 1kill=1point.I don`t see how anything else could be fair.If we implament this I will not be using 4 live traps. For me to compensate those....possibly slacking cause I ain`t seen a point yet......early season guys I will need to play catch up and what better way than to trap and shoot.I was thinking of sitting out in the park in the morning before work and letting Techno catch a few while on the 37ft lead.
