Welcome to the pile man! O0  This place is all about killin' and grillin'

As you might have noticed, we aren't your usual group of people.  We do have a lot of fun though.  If you take your posting and reading serious, this probably isn't the best place for you. ;D  I guarantee that you'll have fun, you won't be bored, and you might even learn a few things along the way.

Word of warning though............Don't drink anything when you're reading stuff on here.  People's monitors have to be cleaned pretty regularly if they're on here very much. ;D  Either don't drink anything, or keep a towel near by. O0

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.
