We just rolled the pieces on flour and fried them. Sometimes we pressure cooked the turtle for a while and then floured and fried them. Or, you could flour, fry, and then pop the turtle in the over and bake it for a while. Sometimes turtle tends to be a tad tough.

I just got done eating some turtle a little while ago.  It was goooooooooooooooddddd! O0

I always just roll the turtle in KY Colonel Seasoned Flour and fry. O0  Peanut oil and olive oil are best to fry in.  The olive oil is heart healthy, and the peanut oil has a higher scorching temp than other oils.

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

I'm not sure he can see the content of the link there Ks.  GP may have it blocked. O0

Anyway, nope, I'm not the founder.  You'll see a feller by the name of Gutpiles slinking around from time to time on here.  He's the founder and owner.  GP spends most of his time "working" on the site, doing upgrades and adding little things in here and there.  We're the main one's who benefit from GP's work. O0

The Members link shows Gutpiles as having registered 8/9/2003, so I guess you could say that's when it came into existance.  I registered on 8/27/2003.  There aren't many of us "old timers" on here anymore.  Ellwoodjake registered on 8/25/03, C.N. on 11/25/03, and John Andrews on 12/7/03.  We've gained a few people who have stuck around every here and there.

If you're really interested in it, there's a Member's list in the Just Jawin' section up near the top of the topics.  I try to update it every so often, because I don't think the regular membership has access to the actual Members link on here because there's people's email addresses and things on there also.
