Marlin Lever in .35 Remington (priced to sell so act fast)
« on: August 12, 2007, 02:28:23 AM »
Every so often, I see a good deal online that is too good to pass up. Well, follow the link and you'll see what I've found this time. I don't know the model, and it's not listed, but the rifle appears older and is at a great price. $300... If I didn't have a few other shooters in the works right now, I'd get it myself, but I'm letting this one slide. Just cause I don't want it, doesn't mean one of my fellow gutpilers shouldn't have a chance at it. O0

Hate to burst anyone's bubble, but the gun looks like about 85% condition.  $300 seems a little pricey for that gun in that condition.  I would think $200 would be closer to the real value.

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.
