One of them I shot the other day, an adult male fox squirrel, didn't have any hardware in his carry bag.

Cool, Nick has got 3 entries in the Gnad contest!!! O0  But have you noticed that all 3 of his entries are shadowed so that you can't see the actual "measurement"?

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

They look fine on the phone when I take them but this is what I end up with when I email them to my puter. Dunno why they turn out like that.

OK, I'll try to remember to put my dig. camera in the truck. I don't like to leave it in there, and I always have my phone on me.

The top part of the picture is always clear, but the "end area" where we need to see the measurement is always dark and shadowed. ???  Coincidence?? :-X
