« on: October 10, 2007, 10:58:17 PM »
So I am in the market for yet another scope. With the help of BC It has come down to these 2 choices.

Simmons® 4 - 14 x 44 mm Master Series™ AETEC
http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=355660

Or

Nikon™ Buckmasters 4.5 - 14 x 40 mm Side Focus Mil Dot
http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=353438

The .17 can`t succumb to any more junk, mounted by rings,to it`s top any longer  :tickedoff

What do you guys think?

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

You know when the son grows up and the dad realizes his son is much, much better than he ever was.Well the HMR is putting old dad in an old folks home  :knuppel2

I know your from MS so I will excuse the grammer confusion. To fiddle and A fiddle are two different things. To fiddle is a verb.Meaning action.A fiddle yes is a violin when used in folk music. It is also a colloquial term for the instrument used by players in all genres, including classical. We all can conclude what type of grammer A fiddle should be labeled...Hey tenderfoot help him out  O0

Hey BBF, I got an iMac today for work.  When I took it out of the brown cardboard box to expose the "display" box, there in big letters were "Assembled In China".
