Cape Buffalo Attack!
« on: December 15, 2007, 10:00:45 PM »
I was reading my Outdoor Life, in which there was an article about a Cape Buffalo hunt.  Long story short, there's a video of the attack while they were tracking the beast.

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

   Wow - that gave me flashbacks to last weekend.  That beast charged much the same way.  Those buck teeth of death will probably haunt me for years.    :-\

that's almost as dangerous as the wounded squirrel that ran up my buddies arm when he thought it was dead and tried pulling it out of a dead tree! ;D

Doing nuisance wildlife control, I've had one crawl up my leg before, and had several bite my gloves (fingers inside).  I'm here to tell you, them little buggers have got a heck of a bite on them for their size! :tickedoff

It's definitely "an experience" having a squirrel scurrying up you leg/arm.  Causes a heck of an adrenaline dump! ;D ;D
