well travo you are right that back in the late 80's and 90's that just about every bow had and over draw.There was some problems with accuracy issues.Tender foot I believe what blood trail was referring to was shorter draw lengths being slower.The bow talked about  2008 Bow tech Marquis is one of the higher end diamond bows for this year that the company is pushing for the year.The black ice is a real sweet bow also Bow tech  bought out diamond bow company and sells them under there name now.Alpine is a part of Darton. A lot of the major companies own several different lines that are sold as a certain name but all made by one company.

Darton? What other brand names do they own? I have never encountered that name.

not sure, but i think maybe they own high country also. i do know that browning and archery research are owned by pse. and also that jennings is owned by fred bear, along with a now defunct one called buckmasters, and maybe pearson. does this sound right, hoyt?
