« on: February 03, 2008, 01:12:57 AM »
We caught a mess of bass and 4 yellow perch in about an hours fishing August 07 .

That little boat has had several hundred maybe 1000 alligators taken with it

The lake is just outside Murphy. It flows into Hiawassee . You can get to  Cherokee lake off Hiawassee Dam acess road. Its full of bass and nice yellow perch. I am 99 percent sure its still in NC it is close to the border though.

Hey gator, have you ever fished Lake Jordan near Raleigh, NC? I'm gonna be stationed back down at Camp Lejeune (city of Jacksonville) and trying to find the closest decent sized lake to fish on! I baught a 21' Suntracker pontoon 2 years ago and have NO problem of having lakes close to me here in East TN, however, I think it will be a different story back down at Camp Lejeune :-\ Any suggestions?

Looks like great fishing! I gotta ask, when fishing at home in Florida, you kinda have to keep crocs and gators in mind at all times while fishing most of the waters there, don't you? I would!
