Yeah. gas prices here are over $3 in some places, but by work I can still get gas for just over $2.80/gal.

I don't own a truck right now, but have been wanting to get a diesel truck for a while so I can go bio-diesel with it. Tender, here's a site I found on bio-diesel.

No, I wouldn't burn bio-diesel - just strait up filtered used frying grease. I've seen it work fine before. And I also know that it is a very un-tapped market around here. I shouldn't have a problem getting free lard.

Ummm... ??? Bio-diesel = used filtered frying grease. There is a process where they mix the different oils and heat them for a while until they mix completely. Saw it on Drity Jobs once. O0

Don't give the excuse of you hunting, man. ;D  That's pretty lame.  We've been talking about ammo costs going up since probably May-June of last year.  You just weren't paying attention. O0

Yes, the prices will continue to go up, thus the reason I said to stock up if you haven't already. O0

;D ;D ;D I`m not going to go back through the threads but now that we talk about it.Tenderness actually replied to a thread I was talking about the ammo jump not too long after a trip to your place

I always thought bio-diesel was treated grease that had a higher HC content than straight up lard. Let me wiki it..."A lipid transesterification production process is used to convert the base oil to the desired esters. Any Free fatty acids (FFAs) in the base oil are either converted to soap and removed from the process, or they are esterified (yielding more biodiesel) using an acidic catalyst. After this processing, unlike straight vegetable oil, biodiesel has combustion properties very similar to those of petroleum diesel, and can replace it in most current uses." i.e. it aint straight grease.

China has been buying up the non iron ( non-ferrous) metals and has been driving up the prices.

They do make a lot of toys   but yes that would make the price go up, so would all the wars going on.
