Morax: Those Bronze tipped bullets. Remington makes a Bronze Point bullet and load it in the 30-06 and 270 Win. They are basically a protected tip hollow point and not a solid. Is that what this guy is using.Years ago a Canadian company made something similar called a Copper Point Expanding.
Re match bullets, those HP's with the small opeming may or may not expand, the ones that are FMJ will probably zip right thru with very little expansion 'less you hit a bison on the head.
yeah BBF, I do believe the bronse tips are just that, basically a large "V-Max" type bullet with a bronse instead of the poly tip on them, i do also believe they were rems he was using, but i could be wrong, as i aint seen the guy hold the gun for close to 8 years
