Hello Fellow Hunters and Private Shooters!

My name is Rob, and my uncle SwietsRick sent me here, told me this is a great website to discuss hunting.

I'm relatively new to the whole hunting/shooting hobby, but my interest is strong as I find when I'm not actually shooting a gun, I'm researching, reading magazines, websites, etc etc.

I want to break into the Varmint and Small Game Hunting.  Mostly squirrels, and rabbits to start.  Then working my way up the chain to do some deer and turkey hunting hopefully later this fall.

Thanks for having me in your community, and I look forward to hanging out here!

Welcome to the Pile HuskeySpade!!  But.......Wow - you admitted that relationship?!

;D  Just kidding of course - SwietsRick is a great guy - we just need to get him around here more!   O0

Jump in and tell us some tales, throw out some pics and ask all the questions you want.  I know they don't look like it, but these are some pretty sharp fellers around here.  Just watch out for the Indians, they can be a bit cranky.

Welcome Rob.
Vegetarians are cool. All I eat are vegetarians - except for the occasional mountain lion steak.

Welcome to the pile Rob. O0  Pull up a chunk of wood and sit a spell. :)

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.
