Military Experience for Journalists
« on: September 18, 2008, 11:01:07 AM »
This is a pretty good series of articles.  Essentially, one of the local TV reports is at an Army Bootcamp learning what it's really like to be a soldier in today's military.  Each day he writes a little more and it gets posted to the TV station's web site.

Here's a link to the latest article:  http://www.wlky.com/news/17503085/detail.html

If this is interesting to you, down at the bottom of the article are the 3 previous days article links.  Check back at the station's main page daily for further updates.  http://www.wlky.com/index.html

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.
