« on: October 02, 2008, 03:42:35 AM »
Hey all, joined a few days ago, just now got a chance to take a look around..

  Little about me

Im a taxidermist  (AS if my name doesnt imply THAT LOL) I simply LOVE my work.
Im married to the most awesome man..have a son and daughter..
Hubby, son and I all love to hunt.  Pretty much everything we do is centered around what season it is.. WE are heading out tomorrow for deer and bear. Mid October we head to Colorado for elk.. Usually deer to but got skunked in the draw this year..

Welcome to 'The Pile' RoyalOaks. O0  Glad to have you around.  We've got another female taxidermist on here, somewhere.  Actually, she and her husband are in the process of moving their business, so she's been a little busy.

Jump in on some of the discussions and get to know everyone.  We're not the most politically correct bunch in the world, but we have a good time. O0

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

Yep we hunt squirrels :) They are fun and make such good target practise.. Our life pretty much is dictated by the seasons... Whatever is IN season is what we hunt :)

Im in Valley Springs, which is in the sierra foothills.. (Nothern Calif).

:) Hi Royal and welcome. So far this has been the best forum to be in, not too serious and not too goofy(so far) lol. You'll have a great time here!
