Deer Contest?
« on: October 09, 2008, 03:26:18 PM »
Anyone want to do a deer contest again this year?  I've had some people express some interest in it, but want to see if we'll have enough to make it interesting.

We'll see what we can scrape together for a prize package for the winners. O0  I know Plott has a slightly tenderized skunk he can donate to the winners. O0 ;D

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

I won't be in this year. My deer rifle is still in Georgia, and I don't qualify for a resident hunting license in Texas yet. Next year, though...

Well, it doesn't look like we're going to do one this year, unless you fellers just want to keep a tally of what was taken and do something for the biggest buck and doe.

A lot of people have already taken some, so it wouldn't be fair to choose teams and such.
