Good start, Xx!  O0
I slipped out Saturday for a couple of hours and sniped a couple, one fox squirrel and one big gray. Yes, 17gr VMax HMR zippers certainly do spray squirrel brains all over the tree limbs.  It was too dark to take pictures when I got home.  Yes, I forgot the camera when I left.  :uglystupid2

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.

oh shush up.. at least i got out there!!

had a buck walk within 10 foot of me, and i could see he had antlers but unknown points...

we need a good hard frost to kill off some of the undergrowth around here!
maybe help me shoot straighter too
when in doubt shoot twice

Sounds like you need glasses instead of a hard frost.  For a buck to walk within 10 feet of you and you couldn't tell how many points he had. ???  By the way, did you try touching him with a pole??   (i.e. 10 foot pole)  ;D ;D

OH WAIT!  You were shooting the Savage weren't you?  That explains the misses.  ;D  In honor of you missing the squirrels Morax, I found this little dude especially for you! O0
