my gun shoots these very well i posted this on other forums and everbody said they not as good as a hp for coons but the ballistics cci give the tmj has more nockdown power than the hp i was wondering if anyone else use these rounds for coon hunting any info would be great

Typically, a FMJ bullet doesn't possess the same energy transference that you see with hollow points. It doesn't take a lot of power to kill a coon if you know where the bullet is going to land. I prefer the hp's but have used solids and fmj's in certain circumstances.

Your call bud. If you know for a fact that you can plant one in the head, then I wouldn't give a rat's patute what the others said. O0

Old boy told me years ago head means dead, took me awhile but what he meant was hit'em in the head and theyre dead.
If your gonna do somethin you might as well do it right.
