More Indiana cooning!
« on: November 16, 2008, 02:54:22 AM »
Well the weather was not great....but perfect to get out and coon hunt!!!

It rained pretty good most of the day Fri and all day Sat.We finally got a break in the action just as it started to get dark My buddy has been training for the sandbox and finally came home. One of his platoon bros has 285 acres in west Indiana so we decided to drive over and see what we could do.

The night started out realy hot.We made the first drop on a creek and both dogs went crazy. There is about 60 acres of corn left and it seemed the coons ran through every dang part of it!!!

We had 60mph winds and it sure made it tough on the dogs.We got 2 solid trees. One was on a smaller hollowed out tree on the side of the creek bank. The base of the tree was a serious mess of holes and crevices leading into the wall of the creek. The second tree, which I rememberd to get some pictures at.About half way up the tree is where the vines and throns started. We looked for about 30 minutes but couldn't see anything past the junk.

Here are the pictures, what little I did take tonight...
