DEER CONTEST PRIZES!!!

Well, I finally rummaged around through the boxes and found a bunch of junk to get rid of prizes to give you all.  O0 ;D ;D

What happened was my step-dad passed away last summer.  When he did, he still had a pawn/gun shop with lots of inventory in it.  I've been selling a lot of the stuff on GunBroker and Ebay (at least until the economy tanked) to get rid of the stuff and recoop the money without loosing our butts on the stuff.  Not to slight you folks, but the big-ticket stuff I can't afford to "give away" as prizes (sorry!), but there's still a lot of good little odds and ends in there.  Some of the stuff is just odd, and some of the stuff has been in the shop for a while, so it may have some dust on it, but there's nothing wrong with it. O0  Another way to look at it is that IT'S FREE! (to you guys anyway).  What I had to do was try to pick stuff that was generic enough that no matter who it goes to, the person can still use it.  There's all kinds of stuff that is specific to certain calibers of guns or makes/models of guns.  But since I don't know what you folks have, you get "accessories". ;D

So....... here's what I came up with:

1st Place Team Prizes
2 - 52" Allen Soft-Side Gun Cases
2 - H.S. Strutt 360o GT Combo Pack Turkey Calls
Comes with Pot Call, Pouch, and Rosewood & Wire Stic Strikers
2 - StreamLight ClipMate Hands-Free LED Lights
2 - Primos Wing Bone Yelper Turkey Calls
2 - Remington Brown Camo Nylon Rifle Slings
2 - Uncle Mike's QD Quick Detachable Sling Super Swivels
2 - Sonic II Hearing Protectors
1 - Howard Leight LM29 Cyclone High-Attenuating Folding Earmuffs
1 - GunSlick .270 - .30 caliber / 7 - 8 mm Rifle Match Grade Gun Care Kit

2nd Place Team Prizes
2 - Type IV PFD Foam Boat Seat Cushions
2 - Uncle Mike's Nylon Camo Pistol Magazine Pouch / Folding Knife Cases
2 - StreamLight ClipMate hands-Free LED Lights
2 - Primos Wing Bone Yelper Turkey Calls
2 - Uncle Mike's Nylon Univeral Magazine Case (9mm - .45)
1 - Angler's Choice Angler's Versa-Tool / Multi-Tool
1 - Smith's Knife Sharpening Kit SK-1

3rd Place Team Prizes
2 - River's Edge 3" Magnum Can Coolers
2 - MTM 12 gauge Shotgun Snap Caps
2 - Primos Wing Bone Yelper Turkey Calls
2 - Uncle Mike's Nylon Camo Pistol Magazine Pouch / Folding Knife Cases
2 - Sonic II Hearing Protectors

4th & 5th Place Teams Prizes
** Participants will get 1 of each of the following **
4 - River's Edge 3" Magnum Can Coolers
4 - Shotgun Stock Nylon Shell Holders

** Participants will get to pick 2 each of the following **
1 - Remington Nylon Camo Rifle Sling
1 - Remington Nylon Camo Shotgun Sling
1 - MTM 20 gauge Shotgun Snap Caps
1 - Primos Wing Bone Yelper Turkey Call
3 - Super Lube Multi-Purpose Lubricant with Teflon
1 - Birchwood Casey Choke Tube Lubricant

GutPiler's Choice Award
1 - Remington Trapper Knife & Multi-Tool Combo Pack
1 - Vero Vellini Air Cushion Safety Orange Neoprene Rifle Sling
1 - Uncle Mike's QD Quick Detachable Sling Super Swivels

In each one of the categories where 2 (or 4) is listed, each person of the team will get 1 of each.  Where there's only 1 item listed, but there's two different items, each one of the participants will choose which one they want.  If there's a disagreement (both wanting the same thing), I'll decide. O0  For the GutPiler's Choice Award, when everything is said and done with the contest, all of the people in the contest that harvested a deer and submitted a picture of it will be eligible for this and will be chosen by the users of the site by vote.  This means that even if someone was on the 5th Place Team, they could still win it.  Everyone in the deer contest is eligible for it (if they harvested a deer and submitted a picture).

As I said, I had to pick stuff that was somewhat generic, but there's still some good stuff in there. O0  I think Gutpiles said something about thowing something in to the pot also, but I'll let him decide what he's going to pony up. ;D

Sound like a good enough pot?  At least this way, everyone is going to get something.  It may not be much, but it's still something. O0

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.

Hey Big58cal, put me down with a total of 2 Does. I don't have any pics. Also 2 Coyotes. I do have a pic of one if you want it. Just let me know. Leaving next week for Alabama for a 3 day hunt, so maybe I can up the score some more.

Good to hear from you J-BUCKS! O0  I was beginning to think you were MIA and a coyote had gotten you. ;D  Yeah, throw up any of the pics you've got (coyotes included) into the picture sticky near the top of the Whitetail section.  Every little bit helps! O0

As for the rest of you all in the contest, if you've got something to enter, and I don't have it listed above, post it in this thread.  It will make it a whole lot easier trying to keep track of things. O0  If you have any pictures, post them in the picture sticky also.  I'll try to sneak way after the boy goes to bed tonight and update the totals.
