.380 auto's
« on: January 04, 2009, 06:53:36 AM »
I am looking to get a compact carry gun for when carrying the .45 is not practical. I have been looking at the Bersa thunder , The Ruger LCP, and the Kel-Tec P3at. Any info on these guns would be appreciated.

The Bersa is a good gun.  Below is a link to some sub-compact pistol reviews.

I've got a little small .380 Bersa.  It's one of the older models, but it's still a good gun.  Just something about a .380 though, if I were you I would go up to at least a 9mm.  You can get a 9mm in the same size frame as the .380. O0  Check into the Kel-Tec P-11 and PF-9.  A buddy of mine just got the P-11 and really likes it.

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.
