That looks like a bunch of bacon and sausage to me. O0

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

O0 Gas is cheaper now, BC.  O0 Good time of year for another trip to Florida, huh?

Great post and pictures, gator!  O0 from the looks of all the hogs there, it would seem a fella could just about live on pork.

Im working on gettin a permit to eradicate them. In Fl they are a nuisance animal with no closed season and no bag limit. You can trap them too.

I see about 4 to 5 groups a day with anywhere from 3 to as namy as 15 or 20 in a group.

Here are some hogs I took pics of yesterday early morning. And a 10 ft 4 gator we had to remove . Tourists were poking at the gator with sticks on a steep canal bank near NASA visitor center

Soooo, I've got to ask, and I know there's a logical explanation for it............  ??? ???

If they're considered a nuisance animal with no closed season and no bag limit, why do you need to get a permit?  ???  Is it because of the Federal land you're on?

Yep  Its a wildlife refuge . On private land you might not even need a hunting licence for them. A sow did make the mistake of running behind the truck and a trailer tire got her
