I'm pretty sure D45/70 lives up there.  He might be able to answer your question for you.

I'm pretty sure that you probably wouldn't like my answer......... "It'll take you as long as it takes."  ;D O0

Anyway, good luck to you!  Post some pictures of the beasts when you get back. O0

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

You should have PMed me!!!
I have been hunting bear for 30+ years and only shot two, my Boy Is 30+ and he has taken three( two where in AK)...
How long would it take to get 3 in one trip ??? There gust coming out right now,but we just got a Mega snow storm that dumped up to 5 feet of snow. Getting up to the bears is going to be tuff this year.

That would be near impossible hunting, D45. Hey, what are those rounds pictured in your avatar?

O0 Well said. It would be impossible to say, since it's an unguided trip.
