Hey fuzz, where you been hidin' man? ???

As for the crappies, any lake around you should have them. O0

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

your mission if you choose to accept it, is to go through the boiler maker to get to the Gut Pile Style

Oh ok well check this site out and see if any of these are close enough to where you live:
Pennsylvania Crappie Waters

From what I've read, it sounds like you'd want to take a camping trip over to Lake Arthur in Moraine State Park.
It seems that lake consistently produces yearly record crappie.
